Toke Makinwa, others talk on boats House of Biggie –

Relationships in the house are a big part of the Big Brother Naija game. The “ships”, as they are mostly called by fans and viewers, are always a highlight of each season. Some ships start earlier than others, while others finish as quickly as they start.

On the 11th episode of Big Brother Naija: The Buzz, Toke Makinwa and his guests, content creators Glory Elijah and Philomina Moses and media personality, Chukwudi aka Husband Material, discussed boats at Biggie’s house. From those who prepare to sail to those who are in the middle of the sea and those who almost sink.

They talked about Doyin and Chizzy, Groovy and Phyna, Dotun and Daniella, and Allysyn and Hermes.

In Daniella and Dotun, Philomena believes that Daniella uses alcohol as a defense to do what she really wants to do. When she noticed that she would like to do more with Dotun, she started drinking more and then went out to kiss. Glory added that Daniella is very calculated and her moves are strategic and well thought out.

Groovy and Phyna could have had a quiet candle; however, the guests think that Groovy’s closeness with Sheggz is rubbing off on him, as he is starting to lay down ground rules for Phyna in the relationship. This could be him trying to show the alpha male side of him, but it doesn’t seem like Phyna is easy to control.

Guests added that housemates are becoming too controlling on their boats, laying down ground rules and setting limits. They are limiting their partners from dancing with other housemates during parties.

Moving on to Hermes and Allysyn, Toke said that it seemed like Allysyn had accepted the whole situation of Hermes having two girlfriends outside of the house. Glory added that she is probably looking for protection and someone who can give her that position in the house. Also, she says that she fluctuates and is just as indecisive as Daniella.

Another exciting couple is Doyin and Chizzy. A rather unlikely ship that no one expected. Philomena thinks that maybe Doyin is desperate to be a couple in the house because she sees the need to join someone in the house.

Speaking about the current head of house Hermes and his focus on food and chores, Glory said that he seems like a coward because he yells into the air during arguments instead of directing his punch at a particular housemate. Husband Material added that it was probably a strategy where you don’t talk to people directly, but wait for someone to react, which will determine your next move.
