Josephina Otabor, known as Phyna, was the winner on Sunday of the reality show Big Brother Naija, Season 7.
This year’s season tagged “Level Up” saw 28 housemates compete for the grand prize worth N100 million.
Phyna edged out five other finalists Bryan, Bella, Adekunle, Chichi and Daniella to clinch coveted winner status.
As the winner, Phyna, 25, gets a cash prize of N50 million, a new SUV from Innosons Motors, a trip to Dubai for two, a year’s supply of Pepsi, a new techno-Camon 19 phone, a supply of Unik soap and supply of household items. Nexus appliances among other delicious prizes.
The elated Edo-born actress screamed as the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced her victory.
Before the announcement, Phyna said that the trip had been amazing and splendid as she looked forward to embracing all that was good.
The show that started on July 23 and 24 had 28 housemates being evicted at different points in the show, while six housemates made it to the grand finale.
Each of the housemates won prizes from different sponsors over the course of the show.
After spending 72 days in the Big Brother House, Bryann was the first runner-up while Bella was declared the second runner-up.
Adekunle came out as the third runner-up with Chichi and Daniella as fourth and fifth respectively.
Fans of the show were delighted with the performances of Nigerian artists MI, Falz and Pheelz.
