Meet the Big Brother Naija (2022) Season 7 Housemates

Nigerian biggest reality show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) returns in 2022 as the season 7 edition commenced on Saturday, July 23, with the launching to continue on Sunday, July 24; this year’s winner would be going home with a whooping N100m grand prize.

We have compiled a list of the BBNaija Season 7 housemates, their hobbies, age, occupations, and what they are bringing into the house.

Let’s get to meet the 24 Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemates who will be keeping viewers entertained for the next 72days. Only one winner will go home with the N100 Million grand prize. Who do you think it will be?

Henry Olisaemeka Orakwue

Groovy – The first housemate introduced into the house is, Groovy’s full name Henry Olisaemeka Orakwue, from Anambra State, is creative and plans to bring spontaneity and vibes into the house as he tells fans to watch out for him.

Beauty Etsanyi Tukura

Beauty – The second housemate and first female to be introduced, Beauty full name Beauty Etsanyi Tukura, who is a 24-year-old Lawyer from Taraba state was crowned Miss Nigeria in 2019, becoming the country’s 43rd beauty to win the pageant. She also held the ‘Most Beautiful Girl Taraba’ title, from 2015 to 2017. She described herself as a great cook, promising to bring fun to the house and plans to level up in the house.

Ismail Rukuba Ahalu

BBNaija Season 7 Housemates

Khalid – Khalid whose full name is Ismail Rukuba Ahalu who is a 22-year-old Artist, basketballer, and skateboarder from Plateau State was the third housemate to be introduced he described himself as a lover of sport and a big-time baller.

Ilebaye Odiniya

Ilebaye – The fourth housemate Ilebaye with the full name Ilebaye Odiniya is from Kogi State and is a  criminology and security studies, graduate and entrepreneur. She loves swimming, partying, bowling and shopping, and considers herself a controversial, adventurous go-getter.   and said she is not a shipper but a lover as she said she is bringing a lot of fun to the house. Illebaye said she prayed to God when she was nominated.

Bright Hidi Nwekete

BBNaija Season 7 Housemates

Cyph –  The fifth housemate Cyph whose full name is Bright Hidi Nwekete is an Art lover, movie junkie, and music freak. Cyph hails from Imo State and studied Electrical Engineering at Madonna University. He loves food, travel, fashion, and cruise, and admits he can be quite enigmatic. “I’m goofy, sociable, and playful too though, so that balances it out,” he says.

Chiamaka Crystal Mbah

Amaka –  The sixth housemate with the full name  Chiamaka Crystal Mbah is a 23-year-old health care worker and Anambra State native, stated that she will disappoint everyone who thinks a man will win this year’s #bbnaija

Kesiena Tony Adjekpovu

KessKesiena Tony Adjekpovu from Delta State is The seventh housemate introduced and is the first officially married man and a 28-year-old businessman who said his wife gave him the approval to come to the show. Kess said he is in the house for the money.

Daniella Utangbe Peters

Daniella – Daniella Utangbe Peters a 22-year-old Poet from Lagos State said she is an open person and is bringing her creativity to the house.

Saviour Ikin Akpan

Pharmsavi –  with his full name being Saviour Ikin Akpan is a Pharmacist from Akwa Ibom State is an actor who described himself as the life of the party and is in the house for the dramas. He added that he doesn’t believe in love at first sight.

Ijeoma Josephina Otabor

PhynaIjeoma Josephina Otabor from Edo State is the 10th housemate being introduced. Phyna said she doesn’t believe in love at first sight. She said she is bringing ginger and drama to the house as she described herself as a real Edo girl. She is short-tempered and can fight with a person one minute, then talk to them the next, like nothing happened. She is single and believes she is a born entertainer.

Brian Chkuwuebuka Chiji

Bryann (Brian Chkuwuebuka Chiji) – The 11th housemate Bryann described himself as a manifest billionaire as he said he is ready to mingle and sees the show as an opportunity to promote his talents. The 24-year-old who hails from Imo State started releasing music in 2019, and finally put out a full-length project in 2021.

Christiana Oluwafunke Ojumu

Christy O Christiana Oluwafunke Ojumu The 12th housemate Christy O said she enjoys sarcasm and doesn’t believe in love at the first sight. She said her eyes are on the price, adding that she is bringing vibes and originality to the house. Christy O is a beauty entrepreneur who runs a cosmetics business. This outspoken 24-year-old also models in her free time and believes in giving people second chances.

Chidimma Esther Okagbue

BellaChidimma Esther Okagbue is a 25-year-old fun, energetic UNILAG graduate and content creator. She loves to travel, swim, take photographs, and make new connections. She considers herself “a no-nonsense person who gets pissed off easily” and is competitive because she likes winning.

Bella admits most of her friends are male because she doesn’t get along with girls. “It always leads to jealousy and gossip,” she says, two things she tries to avoid at all costs.

When asked what habits are most likely to irritate her fellow Housemates? She replied “My bluntness. I am fearless, so I don’t sugar-coat my words. I tell it like it is, and people hate to hear the truth”.

Bella decided to sign up for Big Brother Naija because she wants to be rich and famous. “I do not ever want to introduce myself. I want to walk into a room and be recognised. I love a life of comfort and intentional happiness”.

Eloka Paul Nwamu

Eloswag – Eloka Paul Nwamu is a 27-year-old digital marketer and content creator from Lagos “I’m the next big thing out of Naija and I auditioned to make the House freaking fantastic,”.

He claims to be lively, confident, and talented, Eloswag, who counts his mom as his superhero, reckons he is a hit with the ladies. “I’m a great guy and the ladies love me,” he says with a laugh.

Eloswag is single at the moment and confesses he is in no rush to get boo’d up because he has been “served his breakfast” a couple of times. “Besides, I feel relationships only work better if you have money”.

Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David


Doyin – Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David describes her personality as a mix of Michelle Obama and Cardi B, and admits she is not afraid to bring out either, depending on the scenario. This 26-year-old is “a box of surprises, and you never know what you’ll get”.

When she’s not hard at work as a medical radiographer, you’ll find Doyin partying and reading, and although she may come off as a tough cookie, she actually is a true softie on the inside. Making friends hasn’t been an easy journey for Doyin because a lot of people can’t handle how brutally honest she can be. However, she is grateful to have two close friends who mean the world to her.

Adekunle Tobilola Olopade

Adekunle Tobilola Olopade – Adekunle is a 27-year-old digital marketing consultant from Lagos. He describes himself as “a self-actualized introvert” who takes pride in being a giver that solves other people’s problems.

When he’s not dreaming of creating a better life for himself and figuring out ways to make the world a better place, you’ll find Adekunle playing games on his phone or watching his favorite show, Family Guy, on YouTube.

Osy Allysyn Audu

Allysyn – Osy Allysyn Audu is a 25-year-old Easy-going and describes herself as “a creative goofball who enjoys experiencing people”. She enjoys watching movies, modeling, hanging out with friends, and making her own lip gloss when she is not hard at work as a Sales and Marketing Executive for a popular vehicle brand.

Oladotun Mofiyinfoluwa Oloniyo

Dotun Oladotun Mofiyinfoluwa Oloniyo is a 26-year-old working in a hospital as a medical physiologist and moonlighting as a personal trainer on his days off. When he’s not working out or saving lives, you will find this chatty, competitive socialite watching movies, cooking, or gardening.

Esther Chioma Ndubueze

Chomzy – Esther Chioma Ndubueze is a 22-year-old entrepreneur. Chomzy loves the simple things in life; sewing, traveling, and twerking. She hates snitches and betrayers and considers herself a resourceful and passionate peoples-person.

Chomzy reckons she has the best family in the world. “My mom and siblings are all in Nigeria, and my dad is in Gabon. My family gets along very well and we love each other, but I’m everyone’s favorite,” she says with a smile. Although single, this firecracker is open to love when the time is right.

Gideon Anieti Nwawo

Giddyfia – Gideon Anieti Nwawo Whatever Giddyfia chooses to do, he makes sure to do it with passion. This 24-year-old engineer considers himself a hardworking team player with excellent interpersonal skills and lots of creative ideas.

Prone to laughing and joking during serious moments, Giddyfia respects friendships and tries to avoid drama and betrayal at all costs. He has many friends but is careful to let only a few people in.

One of his favorite achievements is graduating from university with top honors. He is a fitness buff and even won the 2019 ‘Male Physique of the Year’ award in college.

Diana Isoken Edobor

Diana – Diana Isoken Edobor is a 33-year-old Project Manager from Edo State. She was born in France but now calls Abuja home. She is sociable, family-oriented, passionate about self-development, and loves learning about new cultures.

Hermes Chibueze Iyele

Hermes – Hermes Chibueze Iyele is a Performance artist Hermes counts basketball, public speaking, and American flag football as some of his interests.

He has had the opportunity to perform some of his original dance pieces at reputable festivals in Lagos, Glasgow, and Rotterdam, and has also appeared in music videos for afrobeat stars including Burna Boy, Davido, and Ajebo Hustlers.

Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor

ChiChi – Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor is a 22-year-old who has described herself as a “Stripper by night and chef by day”.  She loves swimming, dancing, and traveling, and considers herself “an unshakeably ambitious goal-getter”.

Segun Daniel Olusemo

SheggzSegun Daniel Olusemo is a 26-year-old actor and professional footballer based in England. After sustaining an injury last year, he started acting again and recently scored a role in a production directed by Tola Odunsi.

Describing himself as “confident, but not cocky” and “the perfect mix of Lagos and London”, Sheggz is a hard worker, but also a smart worker, and believes it’s important to be both. Talkative when needed, but also a good listener, Sheggz considers himself down-to-earth, relatable, and ambitious.




With the new addition, the Level Up season has officially begun with 24 housemates.

In a new twist this year, the second set of housemates was placed in a separate house, different from that of the first 12 housemates.

The house occupied by the first 12 contestants is called the Level Two house while the latest 12 contestants are in the Level One house.
